*New Map* RP Truenorth

A lot of servers play on the same generic, boring RP maps all of the time. There is a new map that was released on the Steam Workshop on Christmas called RP Truenorth. It's a canadian based map but also has a US version and it includes:

• Town Hall
• Police Department
• Prison
• Fire/Ems Station
• Hospital
• Grocery Store
• Automotive Garage
• Car Dealership
• Cinema
• Parking Garage
• 2 gas stations
• Diner
• Fast Food
• Clothing Store
• 15 Empty shops
• Upstairs apartments
• 8-plex apartments
• 12 suburban homes
• 12 country homes/cabins
• 3 warehouses
• Steel factory
• Grain Elevator
• Mine
• Lake
• Admin room & Utility room (above the map beside the skybox)
• And finally, to connect it all together is miles of winding highways and back roads.

I think this would be a great addition to TDRP and allow for a more realistic and lively gameplay.

Jeez, this map is definitely amazing. The issue is that it's way too big and spread out for our style of gameplay. We've got it planned to run the currently popular rp_downtown_tits_v1.

I don't think looking unique would be a good factor. It all boils to what content there is.

When paired with the Civs add-ons it would make this map seem much more alive and full.

Looks like a good map, but maybe too big for a server just starting. Once we get an actual population and a larger player counts it seems like a good map though.

Thing is, if we get a dedicated playerbase, I suspect half of them to go against the idea. Only time can tell tbh. Nothing wrong with experimenting.

Best to start safe and make big decisions like that when we have a player base large enough to lose the people who inevitably hate the map without killing ourselves.

I want the classic TDRP experience on Downtown personally, but this map does for sure look cool.
